Before and after before and after before and after It has been 5 months since I had surgery.
Fortunately, my job allows me to work from home and also work freelance-style, so deciding to have surgery was not difficult. Choosing the surgical hospital was the hard part. I had surgery because I personally felt my wide nostrils and long philtrum were areas I lacked in, and I am satisfied with it in many ways. People say philtrum procedures are hard to manage afterward, but for me it was easy. I think it may be because, due to the nature of my job, it was fine for me to just stay holed up at home. For about a month, there was some discomfort when eating, but maybe thanks to that, I lost weight. haha
The change from surgery feels big. Even though I had told people around me enough before the surgery, when they saw me, I heard a lot that my face looked so much younger. And for the side profile, I think the nose just does everything. You do not need things like a jawline. I am not completely chinless, but my chin is on the smaller side, and I think if the nose is pretty, people only see the nose, and a pretty nose also covers for the chin. That is how it feels from my own experience.
I did not feel much major inconvenience with aftercare, so I do not really have anything I would call a downside, but the only downside I can think of is that it took more than 3 months for sensation around the philtrum area to come back. It was not that there was no sensation at all, but there was a process where the area in which sensation returned gradually widened little by little. I am on the sensitive side, but I got through it okay, so I do not think it is a downside that would be unbearably hard for others either.
Putting everything else aside, as a fellow man, I think if you get your nose done well anywhere, it appeals well to the opposite sex, so I definitely want to recommend it.
