I was worried about nostril base reduction, so I went to consultations at two places. It’s not a lot, but I’m posting this in case it helps.
At S-Y-K, they suggested reducing about 4-5 mm, and I didn’t feel like they were going to give me focused care, probably because it’s a large hospital. First, the consultant explained the surgical method while showing photos, then I met the director for a brief explanation, how much should be reduced, and whether I had any questions. After that, I consulted with the consultant again. The surgery is done under sedation anesthesia, and the price is on the expensive side.
At O-O-J-O, they suggested about 3 mm. I was the only patient there; it seems they probably take only one patient per time slot. The director explained the surgical method in detail and told me which surgical method suited me, then the consultant showed photos and explained side effects and scarring in detail. The surgery is done under local anesthesia (sedation available for an additional fee if desired), and the price felt just about reasonable,,? I got the impression that they pursue a natural look.
