I thought a lot about whether I should post this in the failure category or the review category, but for now I decided to post it as a review..
They’re botched eyes, but I lived with them even though they bothered me somewhat (I’m looking into revision surgery, lateral/lower canthoplasty, and epicanthoplasty reconstruction), and even though they’re botched, they did become much prettier than before.
It was so~~ long ago that I don’t have before photos. Back then, I only had things like low-quality phone camera photos.. hehe My old eyes.. I was often told they looked like old Gain’s eyes or Hye Park’s eyes. I did have a slight Mongolian fold. You can roughly imagine what they looked like, right?
I have protruding eyes, and wanting the line set too high was also a problem, but looking only at the result, now I do wonder if it may have been a shadow doctor.
No matter how difficult my eyes were, there are too many scars left that don’t show well in photos, so I want to release that deeply fixed line and lower it, and also slightly close the epicanthoplasty because too much lacrimal caruncle is exposed.
They are eyes where people who know even a little about plastic surgery, or people who look closely, can tell I had surgery.
As a result, I’m neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, but I’ve found the image I want within the limits of what can be done on my face, and most of all I want it to look natural without scars.
Sigh
They said my eye-opening strength was weak. It wasn’t quite ptosis, but they said I needed eye shape correction, and back then when I went around for consultations, all the clinics said that. At every clinic except one, they said my eyes couldn’t be done with buried sutures and that if I did buried sutures, they would come undone quickly.
Somehow I ended up having surgery at a clinic I didn’t want, and I’m still regretting it.. lol
Maybe because I still open my eyes with forehead strength, I have three wrinkles on my forehead hehe..
Note) An acquaintance who saw me and thought it turned out well had surgery at the same clinic and ended up with bigger scars than mine, a more obvious line, and the inner corners of the eyes. Whether that director did it back then or whether it was a shadow doctor, either way it’s a problem, but that acquaintance is living fairly satisfied and I’m not.. Anyway, if you have any questions, please ask.
And if anyone here had a similar case, got revision surgery, and succeeded, please leave a comment. I’ll bow in that direction..
* I took the photos down.
