It’s been 145 days since surgery.
What I feel now is that, as expected, the doctor in charge really needs to be good at surgery. Early on, I had a slight pre-existing fold above my eyes, you know? The doctor said confidently, as if it didn’t matter either way, that I could put on DuoDERM or not put it on, whichever, so I trusted that and left it alone because I was lazy. And it disappeared like magic.
And recently, people don’t even know I had double eyelid surgery. My mindset was that I didn’t care at all even if it was obvious I had surgery, and when I first got my consultation, I had checked “dynamic improvement in impression.” But I think that no matter how much is changed through surgery, if it is done to suit the person’s face well and there are no scars, it doesn’t look obvious.
ㅇ Post-op progress treatment ㅇ
Even on day 110, they carefully scheduled appointments and changed the date if I told them in advance. And whenever I wanted, they scheduled swelling laser treatments, which was good. I didn’t even ask separately, but they also gave me scar-tissue injections. I think the injections helped a lot. It was even better because they didn’t give them too early and waited until the appropriate timing. ↓ Now that it’s day 145, all the scar tissue is gone and I’m very satisfied. I have no intention of hiding it, but I like that it turned out pretty without looking obvious.

ㅇ Reasons I had surgery with this director ㅇ
1. Aesthetic sense I went to many consultations and saw many review photos, but I felt this director understood best the points that people find attractive. The conversation went the best, and I found out that the surgery I wanted had been one of the director’s signature procedures for a long time. So my mind became mostly made up.
2. Overwhelming number of reviews As far as I know, based on Babitalk, this doctor is overwhelmingly No. 1 in the number of eye surgery reviews. (Over 7,400) I thought that meant they had done that many surgeries and would have good proficiency. There are an enormous number of doctors registered on Babitalk, but among them, this doctor was overwhelmingly No. 1, so I trusted them a lot. 3. A clinic recommended by a manager from another clinic who worked in Gangnam for over 10 years Since she was a manager, she must have seen and heard a lot, and she probably had many friends around her who had surgery, so I trusted it a lot when she recommended this clinic.
4. Delicacy After consulting, I also felt that the director seemed like a very meticulous person. So I personally looked up the director’s blog too, and I could feel those delicate aspects in the writing as well. Also, in the past, the director went overseas for medical volunteer work and had done a lot of surgeries that required very careful suturing. Since proper suturing prevents scarring, I thought I should get surgery from Director Shin, who has high proficiency.
5. There are a huge number of people I went to various clinics, but clinics with this many people could be counted on one hand. I think it was packed because they had created(?) that many pretty eyes.
