Before LASEK, both eyes were -2.75, and I usually wore contact lenses I went through a school-affiliated event, and they said LASIK or SMILE wasn’t possible because the curvature of both my eyes wasn’t balanced It was seriously like a factory-style clinic, so I got the exams and surgery as if machines were running, but there wasn’t anything particularly uncomfortable The surgery itself didn’t hurt at all, and it felt like it ended in less than 2 minutes? But after LASEK, it hurt so much It felt like my eyeballs had been sanded down with sandpaper, so on the day of surgery tears kept streaming down and I couldn’t think straight I don’t know why, but I also got some body-ache symptoms, so it was even harder;; After suffering out of it for about two days, it became more bearable, and from day 4-5? it felt like I was reborn I had surgery in February 2022, so about 2 years and 4 months have passed, and as a side effect I got dry eye syndrome. But not being able to see well was more uncomfortable, so it’s fine The dry eye is just very dry when I wake up in the morning? After that, it doesn’t really interfere with daily life I don’t regret the surgery at all and I’m definitely recommending it to other friends
