I didn’t have protruding front cheekbones, but my side cheekbones were wide. I didn’t know when I was young, but in my mid-30s, while getting orthodontic treatment, my cheeks became hollow and I developed a peanut-shaped facial line. That was when I first realized my side cheekbones were this wide. I had cheekbone reduction together with revision two-jaw surgery, and literally, the width of my face decreased, the bumpy peanut-shaped line disappeared, and the facial line became softer.
However, since it was surgery in my late 30s along with two-jaw surgery, there is overall sagging of the face.
I’m scheduled for a lift this fall, so I’ll leave a review.
