It's been one month since my previous nose surgery. I had dermis placed in a sunken area on the left side, but it felt too heavy and stuffy, so I had it removed 2 weeks after the surgery. Now there is scar tissue on the upper inside of my nose, and the outer side of the nose around the scar tissue feels heavy and droops down. I should have worn the retainer from the beginning. I didn't wear it because it was annoying, and now I'm wearing the retainer diligently. But if I skip it for a day, it droops back down again and my nose feels stuffy. As time passes, will this heavy drooping improve as the firmness loosens and it becomes a bit lighter? It's frustrating not knowing how long I need to keep wearing the retainer..
