2-Month Review After 3 Types of Facial Contouring at Noh Jong Hoon Plastic Surgery

I had 3 types of facial contouring + cortical bone resection and muscle reduction surgery at Noh Jong Hoon Plastic Surgery on March 24.

Since I see my face every day, I don’t really feel day by day whether the swelling is going down, but when I take photos and compare them with month 1, my facial shape definitely seems to be getting more refined. The swelling in my cheeks and anterior chin seems to be going down the slowest, but compared with month 1, when the swelling made my cheeks feel very heavy, by month 2 that feeling is much less. There are differences in how slim my face looks when I wake up in the morning, but there are no days when my face looks rectangular because of swelling like it did in month 1. Overall, it feels like the major swelling has now gone down as much as it will, so I’m satisfied for now, thinking this is almost my final facial shape. But when I read reviews, people say the residual swelling continues to go down steadily, so I also have just a little expectation, only enough that I won’t be disappointedㅎㅎ The pain has now gone to the point that I can comfortably rub or wash my face without being conscious of it like before surgery, and it doesn’t hurt. But if I press firmly on the cheekbones and anterior chin, I still feel something like a slight bruise. Also, when I touch over my face around the cheekbone incision area and the intraoral incision area, I still feel a hard lump, maybe scar tissue. The line visible near the anterior chin because of the intraoral incision has almost disappeared, but if I look closely in the mirror or tense my anterior chin, it is still there. Still, as I go about my days without paying attention to these parts, I can feel them gradually improving at some point, so I’m not worried! The square jaw area has no pain at all even if I press fairly hard, and the stiff feeling along the jawline leading to the neck has completely disappeared. At month 2, I can open my mouth wide enough to fit two fingers, so I can naturally eat most foods with a regular spoon. Still, they said I need to be careful until month 3 so the cheekbones can heal firmly, so I’m not eating foods that are too hard or tough, and I’m not forcing my mouth to open wider; I’m waiting for it to open more naturally! Also, to be honest, on day 36 I drank about one bottle of soju, but there didn’t seem to be any particular problem, so I’m relieved and am trying to refrain from alcohol as much as possibleㅎ My mouth opens enough to brush with a regular toothbrush, and I can stick my tongue out well, so since I’m near the end of orthodontic treatment, I’m brushing cleanly with an orthodontic toothbrush. Since a little while ago, I’ve also started blowing my nose comfortably, and the nosebleeds, runny nose, and leakage of phlegm or saliva completely stopped after month 1, so now I’m living no differently from before surgery!

Until recently, I steadily visited the clinic once a week and received a total of 7 aftercare sessions by the time I reached month 2. Maybe it was just my imagination, but after getting aftercare, the next day I often felt like the swelling had settledㅎㅎ Other than that, I’ve been lazy about personal care like wearing a compression band or applying warm/cold compresses... so I haven’t done any separately at all, but maybe because it’s month 2, I still haven’t felt any skin sagging or other abnormalities at all! Now if the 2-month and 4-month follow-up checks from here go well, I think I can say I recovered stablyㅎㅎ

Since I was young, I had severe stress about my facial contour, so even when it was hot I never tied my hair up and, except for my family, I didn’t really show my facial shape to anyone. After getting 3 types of facial contouring at Noh Jong Hoon Plastic Surgery, I can comfortably tie my hair up and I’m recovering well with great satisfaction. These days when I look in the mirror, I can clearly feel that my facial shape has been refined and my face has gotten smaller in a way similar to what I imagined before surgery. I often think that the director achieved as much effect as possible for my face while of course keeping safety in mind, and because I researched carefully for a long time, I feel that I chose the hospital really wellㅎㅎ For about one week after surgery, it was a difficult time, but it was more bearable than I expected, and with facial contouring surgery I think overcoming the discomfort is bigger than the pain. If I could go back to before surgery, I think I would get 3 types of facial contouring at Noh Jong Hoon Plastic Surgery even one year earlier, as soon as I became an adultㅋㅋㅋ That’s my review of 3 types of facial contouring.
