Eye Surgery Reviews

A Lazy Person’s Consultation Review

1. Apgujeong ㄷㄹ, where I had buried suture double eyelid surgery 10 years ago Because of the hospital’s characteristics, they recommended buried sutures. There is something like a scar wrinkle at the inner corner of one eye, so the line has to be raised above it, meaning it needs to be raised by more than 5 mm. They said I need ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty! I thought it was a hospital that pursued a natural look, but they recommended much more than I expected, so I couldn’t really relate. I’m very scared, but they said they wouldn’t even do light sedation, so that was a point of concern. The doctor is calm, but I felt like they were very stubborn about the shape they wanted and didn’t really listen well. -Cost is around 2 million won

2. Sinsa ㄹㅎ, which I went to after a strong recommendation from people around me The doctor was gentlemanly and good. There was no feeling of forcing or excessively recommending anything, and I don’t need ptosis correction. As mentioned above, only one eye is slightly blocked like a small, closed-looking eye, so they recommended slight epicanthoplasty only for that eye. -Cost is in the high 3 million won range

3. Apgujeong ㄱㅇ, which I found through online research; there were no ads and not many reviews, so I actually trusted it more(?) The doctor was good, and I liked that they didn’t just talk according to the reference photos and needs I brought, but seemed to design it to suit me. I also liked that they pursue a natural direction. Because I’m older and my eyelids are drooping and covered, there’s no need to do buried sutures, and they recommended incision. No need for epicanthoplasty or ptosis correction. -Cost 3.5 million won
