Wow... I’m looking into my first surgery, but is it normal for a primary rhinoplasty to cost over 5 million won? I’m tearing up... I went to three places today... I’ll hide the names. My nose is really small, low, wide, and even has a slight hump, so it’s an extremely difficult nose. It’s pretty serious. They said my whole midface is sunken lol. All three places took CT scans, and places 1 and 3 also took photos. All consultations were free! They said my skin stretches well, and at hospital 3 they said it stretches well but is thin skin.
1 Silicone 5 mm, ear cartilage + autologous costal cartilage (or donated rib cartilage), bulbous nose, columella, nasolabial angle, low nose, cartilage binding 5.8 million (autologous costal cartilage basis), 5.1 million (donated rib cartilage basis)
They said silicone 5 mm is needed to make a pretty, average-looking nose possible. Cartilage (septal cartilage, ear cartilage, costal cartilage) goes into the nasal tip, but my septal cartilage is too small, so costal cartilage is essential. Since costal cartilage has to support it 100%, they did not recommend donated rib cartilage. They said there is a high possibility it will be absorbed and the nasal tip won’t come out in the shape I want, and autologous costal cartilage is also advantageous if I need revision surgery later.

3 Silicone 5 mm, donated rib cartilage (autologous costal cartilage) + (ear cartilage), nasal tip soft tissue removal (cartilage removal), nasal tip cartilage binding (cartilage binding), hump correction (not severe, but it seems necessary to place the silicone stably.) 3.619 million (donated rib cartilage basis) + (330,000 if using ear cartilage)

They were all in the Gangnam area. It’s my first surgery, but the prices were much higher than expected, so I feel dizzy... Since I’m from out of town, I had no choice but to visit all three in one day, and usually everything from CT to consultation was finished in around 40 minutes. For friends coming from outside Seoul, I think scheduling with about an hour and a half between appointments would let you get around without being too rushed.
In terms of price, numbers 1 and 2 are too expensive, so I’ll probably go with number 3... Is it normal for the differences to be this inconsistent? If anyone here with experience could take a look and tell me what you think, I’d appreciate it!!
