I had my first surgery in the first time slot today. They said canthoplasty wasn't possible, so I simply only had double eyelid surgery, and although it's called surgery, it felt more like a procedure because it seemed to take about 10? 15 minutes?
It hurt when they did the local anesthesia, and after that... I could feel everything, like my eyes being flipped over and the thread going in, but it didn't hurt. When it was all done, the doctor personally held up a mirror and showed me my face, and when I worried about sausage-like swelling, I got an immediate answer that it wouldn't turn out that way, then came home.
Since it's the first day, I don't think posting comparison photos would be meaningful, and there is some swelling, not a lot, just a little, but since it's the first day I don't think I can make any conclusions yet.
I'll refer to the posts where everyone consistently says time is the medicine, be patient, take walks, sleep at a 45-degree angle, and when time passes, the swelling goes down, and I get the courage, I'll post a photo review.
