During my first surgery, my bulbous nose wasn’t corrected at all, so I was really stressed. The line didn’t come out as much as I wanted, and it was still so low that I wondered why I even did it.. Honestly, getting surgery once isn’t easy.. I didn’t like the overall result, but it wasn’t like I had side effects, so I thought about just living with it. But every time I looked in the mirror, it bothered me so much that I eventually got revision surgery.
Because it was a revision, I looked into it really carefully and checked places with lots of reviews. Among them, I chose a place known for doing natural-looking bulbous nose correction well. I had surgery with 4.5 mm silicone and donated costal cartilage, and I also redid the bulbous nose correction that had failed during my first nose surgery.
After the nose surgery, since I have a slightly retruded chin, the shape from my nasal tip down to my lip line was set prettily, falling at about 45 degrees. Now that my nose is higher, my protruding mouth even looks less noticeable? It’s been over two months since surgery now, and as time passes, it’s settling in naturally.
I’m happy with the surgical result, but I liked even more that the director always checks my progress after surgery and takes responsibility through the end. Honestly, deciding on revision surgery isn’t easy. I kept worrying until I went for consultations too, but now that I’ve actually done it and the line came out the way I wanted, I think I’m glad I had the surgery.
