Hi, I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery when I was 20 and lived happily with it, but after entering my 30s my eyelids started drooping and the line became too thin, so I had a revision with the buried-suture method. But I really didn’t want a big change, and I asked them to just raise the line slightly as an in-line or in-out line, but the doctor recommended doing an upper epicanthoplasty together, so I said okay and lay down trusting only the doctor. But my requests were: I absolutely don’t want a flashy look or an out-line, please just raise the line slightly. Now it’s completely an out-line, seriously, with overlapping folds at the inner corner + uneven;;; Even when my eyes are closed, it feels like they’re pinched hard, so I’m worried it might be a step-like scar? I just feel like it’s totally ruined The one I got at 20 just turned out naturally well, so I guess I thought double eyelid surgery was too easy.
The clinic says it’s because the upper epicanthoplasty scar is in a firm stage and is interfering with the line, that they set it as an in-out line, and it will get better with time. But really? ^^ When I searched other people’s upper epicanthoplasty scars, most people said they don’t go away... I wasn’t told this kind of explanation either, and if I had known this possibility, I wouldn’t have done the upper epicanthoplasty. It’s my fault for not looking into it ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅍ
