It’s already been about 6 months since I had double-eyelid surgery with Dr. Kim Jin-seong at JT Plastic Surgery! At first there was swelling and it felt awkward, but over time the crease settled naturally and now I’m quite used to it haha. My eyes were originally slightly sharp, so I was often told that my first impression looked cold. Recently, though, people have said I look softer than before, which is fascinating.
What I like most is that my eyes look more defined. Before, I needed a certain amount of eye makeup for them to look clear, but now even light makeup is fine, so everyday life is much easier. Since my eyes look defined without heavy makeup, I’ve been wearing natural makeup more often. Before surgery, I deliberated a lot about which crease would suit me, but now I like that it doesn’t look excessive and feels natural, as if these were always my eyes. After about 6 months, I feel like I’m gradually forgetting that I had surgery. I still sometimes look in the mirror and compare them with before, but I definitely feel that I made the right decision. Rather than a major change, it feels like I simply like my usual appearance a little more. I’m satisfied so far.
