After losing a lot of weight, the fat on my upper arms had become so saggy It was stressing me out, so I had surgery! The doctor designed everything very carefully and said they would make it as even as possible, so I trusted them and went into the operating room. I was scared going in, but the anesthesiologist made me feel comfortable, and when I opened my eyes, the surgery was over. The pain afterward was so minimal that I wondered whether I had really had surgery. It felt strange. The compression garment was a little stuffy, but there was absolutely no pain, and I even met a friend and went for a walk on the day of surgery. They said I could remove the gauze and shower starting two days after surgery, so I did it right away. My arms lifted easily, so washing my hair was no problem at all, and I barely bruised… I think the doctor removed only the fat very skillfully, which is why I had almost no pain or bruising!
