Liposuction Reviews@lipo-review

I had fat extraction yesterday, and today I went in for disinfection.

I had a total of 4 areas on my abdomen done, 50cc, and today I went to see what was extracted.

Yesterday I had to go to work (it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there ㅠㅠ), so I couldn’t even look, and I even set an alarm because I was afraid I wouldn’t wake up after sedation anesthesia. Still dizzy because the sedation anesthesia hadn’t fully worn off, I stubbornly walked, bought medicine at the pharmacy (why was the medicine so expensive, 30,000 won ㅠㅠ), waited for the bus, then rode there.

+ Everyone, make sure you have absolutely nothing to do on the day of surgery... I did it because I didn’t have time, but.. I got motion sick on the bus and thought I was going to die ㅠㅠ

It’s day 2 now, and I only had disinfection done before going back to work. There are so few reviews of fat extraction here, so I’m just writing one myself. People considering fat extraction, read this and use it as reference!

1. Is daily life possible?

It is possible. I only had 50cc removed, too.. The problem is that my abdomen pulls when I walk ㅋㅋㅋ Honestly, on the day of surgery, the pain is less, you know? But the next day, it was about the same as the day of surgery, and after disinfection it pulled more. About a throbbing level? Like the day after doing intense abdominal exercise, when the muscle soreness really hits hard..?

2. Bruising?

In my case, I had it extracted once each from the flanks + upper/lower abdomen, and the lower abdomen, you know the area where marks appear exactly when you wear pants or underwear, got a deep bluish bruise. On the flank, the left side was blotchy, and the right side was barely visible. The upper abdomen didn’t bruise at all, but it does hurt.

3. Scars

They extracted it through a 0.3 mm incision, so honestly, even if a scar forms, they say it will be about the size of the smallest dot, you know? But the doctor said they stitched it just in case. (So I have to go back in 2 weeks) I’m someone who doesn’t really care whether I scar or not, so I’m not too bothered, but I’m leaving this note for reference.

4. Showering

First of all, you can’t shower on the day of surgery. I asked too, and they told me to avoid showering that day. So today, when I went for disinfection, I asked one more time, and they said to avoid it as much as possible. Even if I do shower, they said to put on a waterproof bandage or plastic bandage? something like that, and make sure water doesn’t touch it. They put bandage-like things on the extraction marks (incision sites), so I think you can just cover those spots and shower.

5. Swelling

There is swelling. Even though it was definitely extracted, it hasn’t even decreased slightly and looks like it’s exactly the same as before. But they say this swelling lasts 2 weeks, and I heard some people take even longer than that. For now, I’m just watching it patiently. Since I have double-eyelid surgery the week after next anyway. hehe

Unlike other people, I didn’t save up money from working; I just saved little by little. (20,000 to 30,000 won a month?) Because of that, I didn’t have saved money, so I couldn’t even afford liposuction, let alone anything else. Even if I could get liposuction, it wasn’t like I could return to daily life right away...

For people who think, it’s okay if not much is removed, I just want even a little fat to decrease, or are debating whether to get fat-dissolving injections, I recommend fat extraction.
