Before I had rhinoplasty, I was really scared too. I saw posts saying the nose has the most serious side effects, and the nose has the highest chance of revision surgery.. But I had so many complexes about my nose that.. I pushed all of that aside and decided to get rhinoplasty. Ah! And I think I decided with even less fear because among my family and acquaintances, people who had their noses done were living well without side effects. Especially my aunt had her nose done 30 years ago, and she’s still living perfectly fine without any problems.. Back then, the techniques and materials must have been far behind what they are now..
Anyway, I looked around for hospitals soooo much and went to consultations at a few places. But places that were definitely large or had a lot of word of mouth were crowded, and the directors were busy... Maybe because of that, they gave consultations quickly and somehow seemed bothered... I couldn’t even ask questions.. So no matter how good the reviews were, I didn’t feel even 1 bit like getting surgery there. But the directors at the private clinics I visited gave long consultations and explained things very thoroughly and carefully (though private clinics probably vary case by case). Anyway, I think the place where I got my rhinoplasty spent more than 30 minutes just on my consultation lol. But it also helped that the director and I communicated well. Anyway, since the director and I had the same direction in mind for cosmetic surgery, I decided on that place and had the surgery.
I had heard that the hospital where I got surgery was a place that makes results soooo natural, but it really did turn out natural lol. After the surgery, the director said, “Oh my.. I made it too natural,” lololol. But my complex was my low nose with alar width, and they made it naturally a bit higher and slimmer, so I’m living reasonably satisfied. More than anything, I’m grateful that I have not had even 1 side effect and am really living as if it were my original nose... If I ever get revision surgery, it would be because I want to change the shape of my philtrum, and I don’t think I would ever need revision surgery because of my nose shape.
Anyway, the reason I wrote this post is that people who have firmly made up their minds to get rhinoplasty end up doing it somehow.. So I wrote this to say that if you look around for hospitals a lot like I did, meet a good director, and don’t get greedy, you can have rhinoplasty without side effects. Especially when getting rhinoplasty, adding more of this and reducing more of that is a shortcut to side effects, so look into it carefully and decideㅠㅠ I think I only had exactly the nasal bridge and nasal tip touched. Anyway, I hope everything goes well if everyone gets cosmetic surgery!
