Nose Surgery Reviews

My consultation review for my first cosmetic surgery.. nose surgery!..

Since it was my first cosmetic surgery ever, I thought it could be risky, so I had to go to a large hospital no matter what! With that mindset, I think I mostly went to bigger places. I didn’t even know this community existed.. I felt that bigger doesn’t always mean better, and that every hospital is different. Anyway, I mainly looked at app reviews and went after finding nose photos I liked. (The nose I wanted was a slightly straight-to-slightly curved, natural-looking feel.)

1. ㄴㄴ This place was almost the entire building, and since an ENT clinic was operated together in the same building, they had a system where they could check rhinitis too, so I think that was good! After a CT scan, they said my nasal septum was deviated, so they talked about correcting that + cartilage binding + because my nose is so small, septal cartilage probably wouldn’t be enough, so they mentioned donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage.

2. ㅍㅇ (English) I made an appointment and went because the reviews had exactly the nose shape I wanted, but I only met the consultation manager and heard explanations like, “You’d probably need this and that.” I didn’t get to see the director in person.

3. ㅇㅇㄹㅁ They took a CT and direct side-profile photos of my face, and the system was seeing the manager, then the director, then the manager again. Since the manager explained while showing review photos, I think it was easier to understand and more comfortable. The director was definitely honest and straightforward, but to me it felt like the director had a preferred nose shape, kind of like a preference for something a bit sharp and defined?

4. ㅇㅇㅂ (English) When I went, the director I wanted had surgery scheduled, so I had a consultation with a different director. That director mentioned osteotomy to me. My nose is very small and low, and they were the first person to bring up osteotomy, so I thought, ah, this place also has a very definite look they want. When talking with the manager, it felt a bit like the typical consultation manager you often see online? When I said I’d think about it more, they just turned coldly and left. Is it usually like this?… This place also took CT scans and front and side photos.

5. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ Here, as soon as I went in, the director explained things so well that it was very easy to understand, and it seemed like they were trying to match the nose I wanted as much as possible. They didn’t take CT scans or photos at all; the director looked directly and talked with me.

These are the hospitals I’ve visited so far, but up to now, among the places I went to, except for one, they don’t seem to be the kind of hospital that does the natural style I’m looking for.. If anyone here has advice or a hospital or director to recommend, I’d be grateful if you could tell me!!
