After looking around here and there, it seemed like people usually recommended alar reduction, raising the nasal ala, nasal tip, and nasal bridge, things like that.
Since nasal tip surgery is an external columellar incision surgery, I was a bit worried,
but at the last clinic I visited, they said there was a three-dimensional nose surgery that only incises the nostril wings (lowering the nasal ala and columella, tying the nasal tip?), so I went ahead there.
After surgery, for now I feel like the frontal image has improved a lot.
The width on both sides got narrower, and since the columella came down, it feels less like a pig nose too.
For the side view of the nose, maybe because it wasn't nasal tip surgery, I don't think there was a dramatic change.
I'm going to watch the progress and think about whether to do the nasal tip additionally or not.
Post written 4 months after surgery ----------------------- I heard that with nose surgery, you watch the changes up to 6 months,
but there doesn't seem to be a big difference from month 1.
Since there wasn't a major shape change to begin with, and it wasn't nasal bridge surgery,
I think there isn't much room for a major drooping change to happen.
I was worried the shape of the nose-tying surgery area might return to its original state, but I'm still not sure.
I'm trying not to touch my nose as much as possible, and I'm also trying to be careful when exercising.
Maybe because I often forget to apply scar ointment, the scar is still faintly there.
