Before <before surgery> After <12 days after surgery> It has been a little under 2 weeks since I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + incisional dual canthoplasty.
First of all, I live overseas, and during this one-month visit to Korea, I ended up getting eye and nose surgery. (My first cosmetic surgery)
I couldn’t go around for in-person consultations, so I researched very hard online and made a reservation with a director whose reviews showed clean canthoplasty results and whose double eyelid line was exactly my style.
I had my eye and nose surgeries at different clinics. For the eye surgery, I paid the remaining balance and only had my first consultation with the director right before going into surgery. Maybe because everything had already been decided, I felt like the consultation was somewhat insincere.
First, I had a lot of lines on my eyes, and among them the deepest line was set almost like an outline crease. During the consultation, I said I wanted a high in-out line, but the director marked it very thinly, so when I said I wanted the line a bit higher, they kept repeating, “It’s already high,” so I just thought this must be the limit for my eyes and moved on. Then they suddenly told me out of nowhere to get ptosis correction, which surprised me a bit. I had never felt that my eye-opening strength was weak in daily life, so I wondered if it was just upselling... I wasn’t sure.. Even when I asked about side effects from the canthoplasty, the answers were very vague, and I kind of got the feeling they just wanted to finish the surgery quickly and go home...
Still, I trusted only the review photos and thought everything would be fine as long as the surgical result came out well. There is still swelling, so they look uneven, but I’m upset because they already seem almost like inline creasesㅠㅠ
What do you think of my eyes?
