First, I worried a lot about the gap between consultations, but people said 1 hour would be too tight, so I went with a 2-hour gap. Since both were private clinics, I didn’t designate a specific director. I went to Um Nagumo first, and from here I’ll write casually in abbreviated style
Um Nagumo -The director strongly recommended the transaxillary incision... Also, before the director’s consultation, they said you must watch a 30-minute surgery video, so that took some time. They strongly emphasized? operating with transaxillary endoscopic video (they said they’re the No. 1 in transaxillary), so I couldn’t even bring up inframammary incision lol. Motiva was recommended, and dual-plane technique was recommended. There were no review discount conditions, but there was a referral discount! Everyone with an acquaintance, take note!! Also, rather than using the expression AS, they had it divided in detail, with separate notes on what they do if rupture happens after a certain number of years, what they do if capsular contracture happens after a certain number of years... It seems they handle revision surgery differently depending on the conditions. For aftercare, scar care, manual massage, and ultrasound were free for life, and they said the corrective bra depends on the case. (case by case, you may wear it or may not) They said they show CCTV footage and endoscopic footage too. The director felt a bit like a university professor, so it wasn’t exactly an impression of being warm or anything. It just felt like they were really focused on diagnosis and consultation. And I remember actually being satisfied with the consultant’s consultation because she was very proactive and explained things naturally.
Diagnosis - Motiva / transaxillary incision / maximum 320 cc / dual plane
Glam -The director was somewhat blunt, but gave a clear diagnosis. They said I’m eligible for both transaxillary and inframammary incisions, but because inframammary incision is safer and has faster recovery compared with transaxillary incision, they recommend inframammary a bit more. They recommended a Motiva type with good fill rate and less upper-breast hollowing, and said if I want Mentor, I should choose Extra, not Boost. Here too, I was very satisfied with the consultant’s consultation more than the director’s, because the consultant spoke about side effects and the downsides of breast surgery without the slightest hesitation.... I wondered, would anyone still get surgery after hearing this.. But isn’t it right to go onto the operating table mentally prepared and resolved about these things, rather than knowing nothing at all... She said that because she thinks that way, she has told everyone who came for consultation while working at Glam for over 10 years. (This part was especially memorable) Then she showed long-term statistical papers on capsular contracture rates and surgical methods by implant type and consulted very earnestly, like giving a lecture, and they didn’t even charge a consultation fee.. Even if you don’t have surgery here, if anyone here is interested in breast surgery, I thought it would be good to make time for a consultation at least once. Since there’s no cost besides transportation anyway.... I did learn a lot, but there were also many things I realized, so I really want to recommend it! They provide aftercare for 1 year (Caps, scar laser, radiofrequency, etc.), and said the corrective bra may or may not be worn depending on the situation. AS is free once for life with no questions asked; they said they don’t charge anything, not anesthesia fees or implant fees. CCTV can be viewed by the patient as a full recording. No review discount, no referral discount. Fixed price.
Diagnosis - Motiva / inframammary incision / maximum 315 cc / dual plane
------------ Although these were only two consultations, they were places I had been interested in, but compared with other clinics there was relatively little information, so they were clinics I got even more curious about before the consultations lol In case there are people like me who are interested but struggling because there are no review posts, I’m writing and uploading this review so you can read it and use it as a reference! This was only my personal consultation, and my memory may be wrong, so there may be parts I heard incorrectly, so please really only use it as a reference haha After I decide later, I’ll post again and come share information!! Thanks for reading~~
