This time, I had breast surgery, so I removed it while I was taking time off. The hospital also runs a dermatology clinic, so I had it done on the day of my breast surgery. My skin type is dehydrated oily, and honestly, oil starts bursting out in less than half a day, you know? So the sticky part of the DuoDERM melted from the oil and came off once on day 3. I immediately put on a new one, and after that, whenever it seemed like it might fall off, I layered another one on top. They said it’s best to keep it on for 2 weeks without it falling off.
Even during the procedure, they said the location was really tricky, so it might not be removed in one session, and the DuoDERM might also come off; if that happened, they told me to quickly reapply it or layer another one before it fell off. But I didn’t see any reviews where it came off midway and someone reapplied it, so I’m leaving this post. I was worried that because it fell off midway and I reapplied it, maybe the removal wouldn’t be done properly, but what do you know, it’s so clean!!
