I’ll briefly write about the 6 places I visited for nose surgery consultations
First surgery, low nose, short nose, cosmetic purpose
1. Director S.S.J at ㅇㅂㅅ Consultation fee 10,000 Photos taken from each angle, CT scan done Total waiting time 30-40 minutes The consultant there had strong pride in the director, so my trust went up a tiny bit. It’s such a famous place that I was curious, and it seems like the director makes the nose line people want well. They said the cotton packing is removed after just one day, so financially and overall this is the place I’m leaning toward most. That said, the consultation was not super detailed while looking at the CT; they looked at the exterior, discussed the problems, and talked about what could be done! I think it was 10 minutes with the director..? and 20 minutes with the consultant. I paid a deposit, but they said it is refundable
2. Director G.J.D at ㄹㄹ No consultation fee, CT scan done They take a CT but don’t take photos, so I liked that First of all, the nose I want is influencer Kang Tae-ri’s nose, but they said if I did that, cartilage might show through later. So they suggested going a little lower and using only silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage to make it a little lower.. The consultation was very kind, so if you want something natural, it’s worth visiting. I wanted a glamorous line, so I passed
3. Director M.H.J at ㄹㅁㅊ Consultation fee 10,000, facial photos taken (multiple angles), CT scan done The desk staff were so careless and perfunctory ㅡㅡ As soon as I went in, it felt like they were looking down on customers, so I disliked it from the start. I went with expectations because I heard they create glamorous noses well, but I was much more disappointed than expected. They said the nose I want is absolutely impossible with donated rib cartilage and that I’d need autologous costal cartilage... This was the only place that told me to use autologous costal cartilage.. Of course, they said donated rib cartilage would be possible if I lowered my expectations. I searched on BabiTalk and a community and saw there were blinded reviews, so I passed..
4. Director E.J.H at ㄷㄷㅇ No consultation fee, side-profile facial photo taken and printed for consultation, no CT I went because a friend had surgery there, but the consultant was so unfriendly and the consultation was so poor, yet the price was expensive; I even asked what material they would use, and they said they decide during surgery....;;;;; They said after opening it up, if there isn’t enough, they add donated rib cartilage ..... They said something so absurd that I immediately cut it off
5. Director H.S.C at ㅎㅌ No consultation fee, CT scan done, no facial photos taken The consultant here honestly felt like a friend and seemed to know a lot about rhinoplasty. Even though I wasn’t getting functional nose surgery, they explained the inside of the nose well too. There was almost no waiting time, and I think the consultation was about 40 minutes with the consultant and 20 minutes with the director. The consultation atmosphere was similar to ㄹㄹ Plastic Surgery, where they had apparently worked together before, but here they planned to use donated rib cartilage. I liked this place the most in terms of consultation and surgical planning
6. Director E.S.Y at ㄹㅂㄹ Consultation fee 10,000, facial photos from multiple angles, CT scan done First of all, maybe because it’s a one-doctor clinic.. I was there for 2 hours, and 1 hour 30 minutes of that was just waiting.... Other reviews said both the consultant and director explain things well for a long time, but I’m not sure...ㅠ Maybe because I waited too long, I was really exhausted, and after the director consultation ended, the consultant didn’t come in for almost 10 minutes, so I even had to call them in myself.... Maybe because I had expected so much from this place, I was quite disappointed... Looking at reviews, the lines are pretty, but the price is: for the amount ㄹㅁㅊ charges for autologous costal cartilage, ㄹㅂㄹ uses donated rib cartilage. Also, here too, they similarly said that if there isn’t enough material during surgery, they may use septal cartilage or ear cartilage. The line is okay, but I keep feeling suspicious, so I’m still debating this place...
Lastly, I have an appointment with Director C.Y.D at ㅇㄷ in 2 weeks, but I’m debating whether to go or not
