I'm from the provinces ㅠㅠ I had surgery in Daegu 10 years ago and I'm looking into revision surgery ~ I had something to do in Seoul, so before going I made appointments in advance and went .! First of all, I had rhinitis surgery, so I can't use my septum ㅠㅠ I don't want to use hard costal cartilage, and I'm mainly looking into ear cartilage. I was thinking around Apgujeong and Sinsa, so the places I went to first were ㄱㅅ and ㅅㅅㅇ
1. ㄱㅅ (consultation fee 10,000 won, director was kind, listened well) As soon as I went in, it was really white. And the building was really big! I live in a rural part of Daegu too, so seeing such a grand building made me wonder if I was even allowed to go in haha There was no waiting time, and after checking in I met the director right away. The director took photos with a DSLR, then in the treatment room next door we also tried fitting silicone sizes, and he talked to me about the condition of my nose! He also listened well to the things I wanted improved. First of all, since I'm not a contracted-upturned type, he told me silicone + ear cartilage support strut + AlloDerm added if needed .! I talked briefly with the consultant, and the price was so, so expensive ㅠㅠ Honestly, after hearing the price, when she was explaining the surgery time and after-surgery details, it didn't go into my ears lol Maybe the consultant knew too, it did feel like she was explaining roughly lol If it weren't for the price, I think I would have had surgery right away! Since it was revision surgery, it was in the low 7 million won range …! 2. ㅅㅅㅇ (consultation fee 10,000 won, director's kindness was average) The building was just among buildings you could also see in Daegu. It wasn't that hard to find either, and there were a lot of plastic surgery clinics around that were mentioned a lot in this community. I thought, if I'd known it would be like this, I should have looked up more and come ㅠㅠ because even if I don't have surgery, I can still get consultations.
There wasn't much waiting time. Maybe because it was a weekday? I talked with the director first, and hmm, I don't think he was the image of a plastic surgery doctor I had imagined .! He talked just like a doctor at a neighborhood clinic. He didn't take a CT or photos, but kept touching my nose and held up a mirror while we talked together, I think. And he did show me other people's surgical cases .! Like ㄱㅅ, he listened well to what I said, and pointed out everything I was curious about, like how he would do this and that .! He mentioned silicone, an ear cartilage support strut, and additionally alar reduction, so hmm,, since I wanted something natural, it was something I hadn't thought about, so I felt a bit unsure .! The consultant was kind haha During the consultant session, about alar reduction, she said I could do it or not do it, and that if I did it together with the surgery they'd make it cheaper, otherwise it would be expensive, so I did feel a little suspicious. The price was around the mid-4 million won range, so that was good, but I didn't feel like I definitely had to do it here, so I'm going to visit a few more places!!
Apgujeong ㅇㅖㅈ Kimㅅㅂ Kimㅇㅈ I booked appointments, but can you recommend more places that mainly use ear cartilage??? And if there are bad reviews about the 5 places, I'd be grateful if you could reply in a private post ㅠㅠ
