I had surgery on 05/16, and originally I was supposed to get the splint removed yesterday, but because of a family trip, I got it removed today!
It was really itchy, and I wanted to wash my face so badly, and I was so curious, it was chaos.
Even after removing it, there’s still this kind of heavy, numb, tingling feeling.
The swelling is still pretty significant, so the shape seems to keep changing back and forth even within a day. But overall, I like the line, and I didn’t want it raised too much in the first place, so I just hope the swelling goes down more quickly.
Interestingly, the consultant said I might bruise, but I only got a little yellow bruising, and bruising only inside my mouth.
They say if the surgery is done well with less bleeding, there’s less swelling too. I don’t know if it’s because the doctor did the surgery well or because I kept walking and drinking pumpkin juice, but good is good, right? hahaha
I hope all the swelling goes down soon.
