If you are really going to get double eyelid surgery, make sure you go to 2 or 3 hospitals, have consultations, take notes, and then get double eyelid surgery. Looking at people around me, the ones who looked into double eyelid surgery themselves and had it done where they wanted? They all turned out well. A lot of them do not look obvious at all. I was going to look into it and have consultations too, but my parents told me to do it somewhere nearby, saying otherwise they would not help pay for it lol. So I just did it, and my eyes really got ruined. The nurse accidentally left several stitches in without removing them, so there are still stitches and holes in my eyes. Sigh.. And when I complained, the hospital said they intentionally did not remove the stitches. Seriously lolololol so irresponsible. On top of that, my parents said the double eyelid line has to be high so it will not come undone, so it was made extremely high, and honestly my eyes are seriously sausage eyes lol I was so upset and said I would get revision surgery, and I got cursed at and beaten like crazy.
My eyes were so small that I was severely teased, which gave me trauma and made me unable to look people in the eyes, so they got me double eyelid surgery, but now my eyes are still small and also sausage eyes, so it is even more annoying and I have even more trauma. Before, even though my eyes were small, my smile was pretty, you know that weird smiling-eye look that is characteristic of double eyelid surgery.
If you do not want to be completely ruined like me, make sure you go to several hospitals and choose the one that fits you. After I finish retaking the college entrance exam, I am going to save money like crazy and lower the line and get medial, upper, lateral, and lower canthoplasty all done. Seriously.. sigh..
