This is a 6-month review of my breast augmentation with Mentor. It’s already been 6 months since I had surgery at S.N.H. G.R. (animal)! I got 325cc on both the left and right, and upper swelling varies by person, but for me I think it gradually started going down from around 2 weeks. I really had negative existing breast tissue, but if you’re like me, unless you’re going for expensive implants, don’t get too greedy and put in something too big! What you see with your eyes and what it’s actually like when it goes into your body are different. Pain varies so much by person that I can’t give a definite answer. For me, it was painless. I recommend the transaxillary incision because it’s already unpleasant enough to have a scar, and imagining it under the breast doesn’t feel great. Pain hurts briefly and then ends, but scars last forever. The hospital system is clean internally. The operating room I briefly saw before anesthesia was also clean. Their kindness also plays a part. After all, it’s surgery on my own body, so I should receive pleasant service, especially when paying a lot of money... Anyway, I’m satisfied!
