I had facial liposuction at Vibe (double chin, buccal fat) and also had double chin muscle ligation, but I hadn't really seen reviews of facial lipo here, so I'm leaving this review in case it's helpful! Ever since I was little, I had a lot of facial fat, so when I wore clothes that showed my body shape sometimes people around me would say, 'Were you always this thin?' Especially because both cheeks were so full, and since I already had a weak chin, my short face looked even rounder and broader. At first I thought, wouldn't liposuction alone be enough? But after 충분히 consulting with the doctor at ㅂㅇㅂ, I realized that to get the face line I wanted, it would be better to do the muscle ligation too. I worried a lot, but since I was already going through with it, I thought I might as well make it come out exactly how I wanted, so I did both, and I'm so satisfied.

The thing I was most curious about when looking into lipo was the recovery period. Some people said you can go right back to daily life, while others said the swelling is worse than expected. From my experience, honestly, you can resume daily life even right after surgery. It didn't hurt at all, and the compression band was a little uncomfortable, but if I just wore a mask and a hat, it was covered well enough, so it was fine. There definitely is swelling! Honestly, saying there isn't any feels like a lie. I had a lot of areas treated, so that may be why, but it was actually worst between 2 and 3 weeks rather than right after. Still, it wasn't puffy swelling so much as my face getting a bit square.. And the area around my jaw felt itchy, but when I asked the clinic, they said it was a normal symptom that happens during recovery and regeneration!! Other than that, I had no problems recovering. Once 3 weeks had passed and I was approaching one month, even that leftover square-looking swelling went down a lot, and the double chin that folded when I bent my head down disappeared. Maybe because I also had the muscle ligation, the area under my chin doesn't feel saggy at all, just tight, and my face simply looks slimmer and smaller. There is still an incision mark under my chin, but unless someone deliberately looks up at the bottom of my face, it's not visible from any angle. They said it would fade more over time, so I'm going to keep applying the ointment carefully! This got long, but... if you leave a comment with anything you're curious about, I'll answer as much as I can!
