I'll post before-and-after photos once the full splint is removed. Before that, I was curious how it went for others who had their nasal axis corrected.. The little bumps rising between the stitches, is this sebum? Could this possibly leave a scar? I'm on day 5 after surgery now, and they said they'll remove the stitches and take off the splint on day 6. How did everyone else do it? I hadn't even been thinking about my nose, but I went in for a consultation for another surgery, got talked into it, lost my head, and ended up having same-day nose surgery, so I don't know anything about rhinoplasty. I'm searching like crazy after the surgery. For now, if it turns out well that's a relief, but if it doesn't, I think I'll be insanely pissed.
Anyway, I have consultations booked at four places today for liposuction/fat grafting, so should I just ask them to remove all the splints today and go around to the consultations? Would it look too funny walking around like this? The surgery was last Saturday. Any advice is fine, so please give me some. I feel like I'm starting to spiral mentally.
