ㅇ Swelling status after-before ㅇ
It’s been about 110 days since surgery. For my left eye, you wouldn’t know unless I said I had surgery, and for my right eye, the swelling is still a bit noticeable. The day after surgery, only my right eye swelled especially a lot (about 2 times), so I think it’s also taking about twice as long to go down. It’s not that the surgery went wrong; it’s because of swelling, so I’m not worried.
ㅇ Postoperative progress treatment ㅇ
They scheduled appointments carefully, changed the date if I told them in advance, and also booked swelling laser treatments whenever I wanted, which was nice. I didn’t even mention it separately, but they gave me a scar-tissue injection too; I think the injection helped a lot. It was even better because they didn’t do it too early and waited until the appropriate time before giving it.
ㅇ Things I felt improved after surgery ㅇ
- Improved field of vision - Eyelashes no longer poke my eyes - The buried eyelashes became exposed, so my eyelashes look longer and darker - Aesthetically, it got muuuch better - People around me became kinder and treated me better
ㅇ Reasons I had surgery with that director ㅇ
1. Aesthetic sense I had many consultations and looked at many review photos, but I felt this director understood best the points that people find attractive. Communication was the smoothest, and the surgery I wanted was something they had been doing as a signature surgery for a long time. So my mind became pretty set.
2. Unmatched number of reviews As far as I know, on Babitalk, they are overwhelmingly No. 1 for the number of eye surgery reviews. (over 7,400) I thought that meant they had performed a lot of surgeries and would be highly skilled. There are an enormous number of doctors registered on Babitalk, and since they were overwhelmingly No. 1 among them, I trusted them a lot. 3. A clinic recommended by a manager from another clinic who worked in Gangnam for over 10 years Since she was a manager, she must have seen and heard a lot, and probably had many friends around her who had surgery, so when she recommended this clinic, I trusted it a lot.
4. Delicacy After the consultation, I also felt they seemed like a very delicate and detail-oriented person. So I even searched for the director’s blog myself, and I could feel those delicate aspects in the writing too. Also, in the past, they went overseas for medical volunteer work and did a lot of surgeries that required very meticulous suturing. Since good suturing prevents scarring, I thought I should have it done by Director Shin, who seemed highly skilled.
5. There are a huge number of people I’ve been to various clinics, but this was one of the few clinics with this many people. I think it’s crowded because they have created(?) that many pretty eyes.

- It’s relatively expensive compared with other places? But since it’s a surgery you get once and keep for the rest of your life, I think a difference of a few hundred thousand won is reasonable.
