A year ago I had a Hiko nose procedure, but my nasal bridge still looked blunt and bumpy, and it gradually looked wider and the nasal tip was low, so I was considering rhinoplasty. I went to consultations at a few places, and at, where I liked the consultation with the director and the clinic atmosphere, I had implant-free rhinoplasty with hump osteotomy, using septal cartilage for the nasal tip and donated costal cartilage. I was also concerned about deep cheek fat, the jawline, and nasolabial folds, so after consultation I additionally had paranasal augmentation surgery and Ultherapy treatment together. Since every clinic’s consultation style is different, I worried a lot, but the director honestly consulted only on the areas I was concerned about without overtreatment, and the manager in charge was kind too, so it was good. In particular, the cost of implant-free rhinoplasty was similar to the price I had expected, so I booked and had the surgery. Right after surgery, it was hard to breathe because of the cotton inside my nose, and my mouth felt like it was burning dry, so it was difficult. Starting the next day, swelling began, so I kept managing it by drinking water nonstop and using compresses. If I’d done it in the middle of summer, I probably would’ve been hot, stuffy because of my nose, and irritated lol. I’m glad I did it when the weather was a bit cooler haha.
A few days ago, it was day 7 after surgery, so I went to the clinic to have the stitches removed, and I’m almost at week 2 now. As soon as the stitches and splint were removed, the swelling has been going down day by day, and I’m satisfied because my nose shape seems to be settling more and more prettily. Maybe because it was implant-free rhinoplasty, it doesn’t look artificial and looks natural. A smoother nasal bridge and a sharply raised nasal tip haha. The line from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip is really different from before, so it looks so pretty. And because I had paranasal augmentation surgery and Ultherapy lifting together, my jawline also looks smoother and my nasolabial folds seem to have stretched out. Since I feel satisfied every time I look in the mirror, the surgery cost doesn’t feel like a waste, and I think I did well choosing implant-free rhinoplasty. For now, the swelling is still going down, so I guess it’ll become a bit more natural without the shape changing, right?
Anyway, since I was having implant-free rhinoplasty, paranasal augmentation surgery, and Ultherapy all at once, I thought recovery wouldn’t be easy, but there was less swelling than expected and no discomfort, so I’m relieved that the nose, paranasal area, and Ultherapy all seem to have turned out well. I’ll manage the swelling more and post another review if anything changes!
