The surgery consultation with Professor J.W.J. was less than 10 minutes? I think the rest, like the cost and surgery schedule, was handled with the manager for about 20 minutes.
For surgical materials, because of Korean anatomical characteristics, there often isn't a large amount of septal cartilage or ear cartilage, so they said using costal cartilage is almost unavoidable to raise the nose. (They said that if they open the nose and there is no material, that would be a problem, so using costal cartilage is not really optional but essentially mandatory.) And I also have septal deviation, though not severe, so they suggested operating on that at the same time while doing the surgery.
I planned not to spare money on nose surgery, so I had set a fairly high budget, but I was surprised after hearing the enormous estimated cost. They said the final cost can only be known accurately after the surgery is completely finished. (The longer the surgery takes, the more expensive it can get... etc.)
They told me the detailed examinations needed for nose surgery would be done before the operation, and at that time we would talk more about the shape I wanted. And the available surgery dates were half a year or a year later, so since I wasn't in a rush, I booked for a year later and came back.
However, because the professor is so busy, I got the feeling communication wouldn't happen right away, so unless it were a difficult revision surgery, I don't think I would do it here.
