Before/after This was my first time getting lip filler Before the procedure, I went for a dental checkup just in case Because after getting filler, dental instruments shouldn’t be pressed against it I’d always been stressed that my nose looked big compared with my lips I wanted my lips to look horizontally longer and more squared-off
10:30 appointment I didn’t go in right at 10:30
*After the consultation, they applied numbing cream and I waited (The numbing sensation just felt exactly like when you get anesthetized at the dentist
Consultation *I didn’t consult with the doctor (they said it was because there is only one director/doctor) *They showed me different shape types *They showed me a price chart and domestic vs imported options *It proceeded by choosing a shape (they showed photos) *At this point, they asked whether I also wanted filler in the center of my upper lip (I hadn’t thought about that area before going, so I said no) *I was already satisfied with my mouth corners, so I didn’t do those *Considering safety and foreign-body sensation, I judged that imported filler would be better
During the procedure *At first, they injected the outer areas *Even though I was numbed, it felt like getting a childhood vaccination, with a prickling sensation, and I could still feel it being injected *After injection, they placed gauze(?) and did molding (quickly kneading it with their hands)
*Right now the anesthesia still hasn’t fully worn off, so I don’t know yet whether there is a foreign-body sensation or later pain I’ll write more later *The procedure was done lying down They did it lying down, then I sat up and looked in the mirror, then lay down again for more procedure, like that
After the procedure My lower lip bled in 3 spots, so I came to the sitting area where you wait with gauze on and they stopped the bleeding
*I received a 3-day prescription (16,800 won)
They said bruising is less likely if you relax your lips while getting injected My lip wrinkles disappeared (+Day 3: the wrinkles came back as before, I freaking love it) I realized that lips need some wrinkles to look more natural lol Right after the very first injection, when I looked in the mirror, it looked super natural (+Day 3: if I had done it like that, it would have been almost the same as not doing anything, so I probably wouldn’t have liked it Kind of like a day when your lips are a little swollen? I think I would have been more satisfied if I had stopped then Because what I wanted more than volume was for my lips to look longer But once there was more volume, it seemed harder to get that longer-lip look? But personally, I like my upper lip I’m planning to talk a lot from now on^^
+Day 3: Once the swelling went down, they just became lips I freaking love

Next time I’ll ask them not to define the upper lip line (+By Day 3 it just looks super natural, just pretty)
