I was always just taking information, so I'll write a review of skin laser too First, I have various pigments coming up, mainly around the front cheekbones, including nevus of Ota, freckles, lentigines, melasma, etc.
Dermatology clinic A: Ruby laser + care / they said I'd need about 20 sessions to see results / didn't show before-and-after photos / low 2 million won range for 10 sessions / VAT separate Clinic B: PicoSure laser + care / they said some people are satisfied after 10 sessions and stop / showed before-and-after photos / mid 1 million won range for 10 sessions / VAT separate I'm getting treatments at clinic B at one-week intervals
Week 1 - I did it without anesthesia, and there was a smell like burnt squid and it stung, but it was tolerable. After the treatment my face was slightly red and dry. No scabs formed Week 2 - After the treatment my face was slightly red and dry. No scabs formed Week 3 - After the treatment my face was slightly red and dry. No scabs formed Week 4 - It felt like my overall clarity improved. After the treatment my face was slightly red and dry 5th time - They did something called Zoom Pass? only on the deep pigment. Right after the procedure it swelled a little and turned red (I thought it was an inflammatory acne lesion). Scabs formed. As the scabs fell off, the lentigines suddenly disappeared! This was really amazing, and my skin got clean enough that people around me noticed. 6th time - After the treatment my face was slightly red and dry. No scabs formed.
I'm going for my 7th treatment the day after tomorrow.. They also did a laser called Genesis a couple of times in between, but I forgot exactly which week it was! Since starting treatment, I used a parasol every day and applied sunscreen before going to work, at lunchtime, and before leaving work I worried a lot that it might not work and that I might be wasting money, but I'm super, super 200% satisfied!
