When choosing a hospital, from the beginning I went around to private clinics with 1-2 doctors, and filtered out places that pushed excessive surgery and things like that.
I had a fairly objective view of my eyes, so I went into consultations thinking epicanthoplasty, incision, and fat removal. At all 6 hospitals, they gave me surgical consultations in line with what I thought, and I do not think there was overtreatment.
After surgery, for about a week I mostly slept propped up and focused on compresses, so maybe because of that, almost all the swelling went down, and the bleeding stopped quickly too, so from around day 3? or day 2, I think all the blood scabs had disappeared.
Now that 2 months have passed, I sometimes go out wearing makeup, and everyone is surprised that even though it was incisional double eyelid surgery, I have no swelling or bruising and returned to daily life quickly It looks natural but defined, and I am so happy that my uneven eyes were fixed.
Oh, and I thought stitch removal would hurt a lot, but it was bearable. There was only a little bleeding at the time they removed them, and after that there was none. It was completely different from YouTube, so I found it surprising and good.
