I'm overseas right now, so I'm shopping around by sending photos through KakaoTalk consultations and asking whether the surgery I want would be possible. I don't think I'll have time to get consultations in Korea, book surgery, and all that... I thought there might be others here looking into it like me, so I'm posting a review.
First of all, I want to create natural, thin inner double eyelids with the non-incisional buried-suture method... I'm worried about side effects, so I don't prefer ptosis correction, incision, or natural adhesion at all.. I sent photos while saying I wanted eyes that don't look obvious and look natural, and got replies.
1. ㅇㄹㅈ The director replied directly. After seeing my photos, they immediately replied that thin double eyelids would definitely be possible with quick double-eyelid surgery. They did not recommend any other surgery. They said that if it would be hard to wait from an in-person consultation until booking surgery, I could put down a deposit of 100,000 won and have surgery on the consultation day. Quick double-eyelid surgery seems a bit different from regular buried-suture double-eyelid surgery, so I wanted to know more details about the surgical method, but they said it was hard to explain over KakaoTalk and that they would explain it in detail if I came in.
2. ㅁㅊㅍ The consultation manager replied. Here, the director explains things in a lot of detail on YouTube, so I inquired because I was curious, but it was a bit disappointing that the consultation manager replied. They cautiously said that since my eyelids looked like they might be drooping, I would need to come in person to know for sure whether the shape I want would be possible.
3. ㄷㅇ The consultation manager replied. There was a review on the Naver blog where the result looked exactly as natural as I wanted, so I inquired. The consultation manager was too certain that I needed ptosis correction, but since they weren't medical staff, the reasoning felt weak.. I said I didn't want it because I was worried about side effects from ptosis correction, like Muller muscle stimulation, but they just ignored that and kept saying it couldn't be resolved without ptosis correction, so I ruled them out.. lol
If anyone has to come to Seoul from far away, I think it could be good to filter places once using this method and then get in-person consultations. If anyone knows a clinic that does natural-looking buried-suture double-eyelid surgery well, please recommend it ㅠㅠ
