Upper epicanthoplasty (removing Mongolian folds & improving kind-looking eyes?) Under-eye fat repositioning <<< all four places said the same thing about these two
1. ㅇㅁㄹ They said they could make the double eyelid line I wanted, but set it so it wouldn’t be too thick (recommended incision) They said 100% removal of the Mongolian folds is impossible and that even a little medial epicanthoplasty must not be touched They also recommended eye-shape correction because of ptosis
2. ㅇㄹㅇ They set the line the prettiest and best (recommended partial incision) They set it between the line I wanted (semi-out) and the recommended line (in-out) They said it’s not ptosis, so eye-shape correction isn’t needed, and because it’s skin sagging + excess fat, removing fat and muscle in the middle during partial incision could correct the sagging to some extent They said my eyes are not suitable for medial epicanthoplasty, so they didn’t recommend it You can tell they have a lot of experience
3. ㅈㅇㅌ They said the line I wanted might come undone, so they recommended the line I had before (recommended incisional in-out) They didn’t recommend partial incision because it could come undone and scars could appear here and there (they said it’s not really the trend these days) They said there’s no ptosis, eye-shape correction isn’t needed, and it’s skin sagging - They checked by directly touching and lifting all around my eyes They were meticulous and explained things kindly and well
4. ㅌㅇㅅ They said there’s no ptosis, but the skin is very saggy, so eye-shape correction should be done together They said medial epicanthoplasty and upper epicanthoplasty should be done together They recommended the line I had before They were extremely confident! They said there would be no incision scar and that their technique is good, but the price was the most expensive
During consultation, the place that said all the same surgical areas was No. 3, so I debated a lot between No. 2 and No. 3, but I booked No. 2 because they set the line beautifully. Then I joined this community and saw posts saying the reviews were a bit iffy, so I’m back to worrying (I couldn’t level up, so I couldn’t read the contents)
Will partial incision really not come undone easily?! For my first surgery, I gained 15 kg from pregnancy + had postpartum swelling, so the natural adhesion came undone after 3 years on the left and 6 years on the right
