Before getting facial liposuction, I was the kind of person who would say that if I could change only one thing about my face, it would absolutely be the fat under my chin. I was pretty thin overall, but my double chin folded so thickly that I always looked much heavier than I really was In side profile especially, there was always a crease between my chin and neck, haha, and from the front the fat under my chin spread out so that my face shape looked dull As you can probably tell from the photos, it wasn’t just a slight bit of chin fat, haha. Even when I held my head straight, the area under my chin was folded I really felt that the only answer was medical help, so I started looking into double-chin liposuction. While focusing on before-and-after photos of facial lipo cases as severe as mine, I ruled out places that looked heavily photoshopped or that took the photos in ways that made the result look better by pushing the chin forward or tilting the head up, haha. Since the face can look unnatural from even a slight lumpiness, I looked for a place that focused on facial liposuction or skin-tightening with threads rather than a place that did a bunch of different cosmetic procedures. And because there seemed to be many high-difficulty double-chin cases like mine, I chose Doctor Jungriban. After the consultation, they said my issue was the fat under the chin itself rather than muscle or sagging skin, so there was no need for other lifting procedures or even double-chin muscle binding. I liked that they recommended only what was necessary like that, haha. An honest clinic!! On the day of surgery, it was under sedation anesthesia, haha, so I woke up and everything was already finished. When I opened my eyes, I was already wearing the compression garment. I didn’t feel nauseous or dizzy at all after the anesthesia, and I woke up feeling refreshed like I had slept deeply, then went home, haha. It felt like it took less than two hours. There was almost no pain, just a slight numb, pulling feeling under the chin. There was almost no swelling, and the bruising was only very slight on the surface of the skin, so after about the first 3 days it turned yellow and faded, and the recovery period was really short. I felt some fibrosis for a while, but even that naturally loosened up after about a month and a half, and after around two months my skin softened again. Before surgery, my biggest worry was whether taking out a lot of fat would make the skin sag later or bring back the double chin again! But even now in my 30s, there’s no sagging or looseness under my chin at all, and the jawline that was first set has stayed almost the same, so I’m very satisfied with the long-term results haha. There are almost no visible scars, and I also don’t have any discomfort like numbness or altered sensation. Because the jawline that was first set has stayed almost exactly the same until now, I’m very satisfied in the long run. If you’re considering chin-fat liposuction and have a severe double chin like mine, I hope my review helps a little. It cost in the 1 million won range, so I’m satisfied enough that I keep thinking I should have done it much earlier If you have any questions, leave a comment! I’ll answer as best as I can.
