My bridge was naturally wide and my tip was short, so every time I took photos I was really conscious of my nose. From the front it was fine, but from the side my tip was so short that I hated how my features looked blurred... When I had filler in the bridge and tip before, I was satisfied, but as time passed the tip started to lift more and more and began to look even shorter. The bridge also seemed to spread out, so in the end I decided I needed to clear out the filler and have surgery.
I looked up a lot of reviews and visited several clinics for consultations, but the consultation with Dr. Hwang Sang-min at Kobiju felt the most professional, and I liked that, as a one-doctor clinic, he would personally follow up on my progress. First, I got injections to dissolve the filler, and then I had surgery. Once all the filler was dissolved, my old nose became visible, so at first I felt a little embarrassed... but I really think it was the right choice to properly clear it out and have surgery haha
The bruising and swelling were not as bad as I expected, and the pain was tolerable. The day before the nasal packing was removed was the most uncomfortable, but after that it was okay. The doctor personally checked my progress after surgery and also took good care of post-op management such as swelling laser treatment, so that was great. The swelling went down fairly quickly, so I keep feeling grateful to the doctor day by day haha
