Until month 2, under lighting, because of swelling, the skin looked saggy and my face looked like it had a lot of facial fat, so people occasionally stared, and I was bothered by it too, but now it looks much less saggy, which I like My double-chin fat has also decreased a lot. But since it has not all gone down yet, sometimes it looks like I have jowls, and at times I look unattractive, so I get depressed
Because my previous face shape was so severe, it’s definitely much better than before, and I like that it looks round and soft, but I still feel some disappointment with the cheekbones and jaw. Especially on the right side, I sometimes think maybe it would have looked slimmer if they had cut the cheekbone or jaw a bit more, but first of all the swelling hasn’t all gone down, so I’m waiting, believing that once it goes down it will become slimmer Since my cheekbones and jaw had been such a complex, I wanted a smooth, slim face shape, and maybe that’s why it still feels disappointing because I don’t yet have that feeling
But they say even eye swelling lasts a year, so now, at less than 6 months, I’m calming myself by thinking that because of the swelling, the flesh looks puffy, and that’s why it doesn’t look slim From the side, I can clearly see the angles are gone now, but from the front it still looks broad, and only slightly cleaned up from my previous face shape, so when my friend also said it wasn’t slim, I felt a bit depressed
Still, it’s true that it’s much better than my previous face shape, and when I lift the puffy-looking parts with my hands, it looks slim again, so I think it looks that way because the swelling makes the skin look saggy Facial contouring feels like a fight with swelling and a fight with patience Now I like that I don’t have to cover my face with a mask because of my square jaw, which was my complex
But I thought once I did facial contouring, I wouldn’t have complaints about my appearance anymore, yet I’m still not satisfied with my face, so I wonder if I should do lateral and lower canthoplasty, and now that the swelling is going down, the under-eye fat repositioning issue is slowly showing I keep finding other problem areas, thinking maybe it would be better if I fixed my nose a bit, and these days I often feel like I want to fix other places too.. I’m really feeling these days that plastic surgery has no end Still, I’m really looking forward to facial contouring because I think it will get slimmer once the swelling goes down more
What I’m most grateful for is that I had almost no facial-contouring side effects after surgery In the beginning, of course I was careful because I was worried something might go wrong, but I didn’t have anything like special pain, tightness, excessive nosebleeds, or complete loss of sensation The sensation around my eyes felt like it was anesthetized, but now I think it has all just come back
I also think the anterior chin advancement and lengthening were done naturally and well, and I’m very grateful that without any particular side effects, the only thing I can worry about is swelling
