Hi everyone! It has finally been 3 months since my revision nose surgery, so I am writing a review. The truth is, I had my first surgery at another hospital, but as time passed, my nasal tip kept looking more raised and shorter... On top of that, the bulbous nose I most wanted improved in the first surgery was not corrected at all, so it stayed blunt and stuffy-looking. Every time I looked in the mirror, all I could see was my nose, and the stress was terrible. Even when taking selfies, I was busy correcting the nose. In the end, I realized I could not keep living like that, so I found [Clinic A], which is famous for revision nose surgery, and went back into surgery. When I decided on this revision surgery, unlike the first surgery, I had zero lingering desire for style or vanity. My only goal was to have a clean line that looked slim without giving a dull impression and matched the proportions of my face. When I talked with the doctor during consultation, I kept emphasizing, probably several times, that I wanted everything to fit my facial atmosphere naturally and only keep a slim look. The doctor understood exactly what I wanted and carefully planned implant re-adjustment, bulbous nose correction, and the use of autologous costal cartilage to firmly secure the shortened nasal tip. Right after surgery and in the early stage, because of swelling and bruising, I worried every night while searching the community, thinking maybe my nose had become too high? But now that the swelling has gone down and I have reached the 3-month mark, I can see the exact moderate, pretty line I wanted! The nasal tip that had looked short and raised has come down in a balanced, natural way, and the bulbous nose that stressed me out the most has been refined into something sharp and neat, which is very visible now, so I am extremely satisfied these days. My friends also tell me when I see them after a long time that I did the revision surgery at the right time, so I feel oddly proud, and now I actually enjoy looking in the mirror and taking selfies! The area where the rib cartilage was taken has also healed cleanly without pain or discomfort. I know better than anyone how hard it is for people who failed their first surgery and spend every day feeling down about bulbous noses or a raised tip, so I hope this helps even a little!
