Eye Surgery Considerations

Modern Aesthetics Review

As an ordinary person, I cannot understand medical details, so I went in for a consultation to hear an expert's explanation. However, rather than answering my questions calmly, I was treated as if I had come in misinformed and was met with a condescending, needling attitude, which was unpleasant. If the treatment I requested was difficult, it would have been enough to briefly explain why and say, 'It is difficult at our hospital.' I do not understand why they had to go on and on about my lifestyle habits and health management, as if all the problems came from my lack of self-care. I went for a consultation, not to be lectured or judged. I did not get concrete answers to the parts I was actually curious about, and I was left with a strong feeling that the consultation time was wasted on unrelated talk. As a patient, it is natural to ask about things you do not know, but an attitude that makes the person asking feel embarrassed is hard to call professional consultation. If they had clearly told me from the start that it was impossible, neither side would have wasted time.
