It’s been over 4 years since I had LASEK, and I’m so satisfied. I wore contact lenses for 10 years, so my dry eyes were really severe and I lived with artificial tears, but after LASEK my dry eye syndrome disappeared!! My corneas were also thick, so I could have had LASIK, LASEK, or SMILE LASIK, but I’m safety-conscious, so I chose LASEK thinking about after the surgery, and I’m very satisfied. Of course, for 2 or 3 days after surgery it hurt so much that I regretted like crazy not getting LASIK, but you only have to endure exactly 2 or 3 days
