I had double eyelid surgery in high school, but after becoming an adult, my double eyelids looked like they had come undone, so while I was looking into eye surgery, I found a clinic through an ad, and because I was young and wanted to get it done quickly, I chose it right away without looking into multiple clinics and had the surgery. I think I had every eye surgery that could be done: double eyelid revision surgery + epicanthoplasty + dual canthoplasty + upper canthoplasty? and more. My eyes were completely small and narrow, and the outer corners were upturned, so I decided to get canthoplasty.
After the surgery, as the swelling gradually went down, I only heard negative comments from people, like my eyes looked too harsh, why did I get the surgery, I looked better before, and so on. Once all the swelling went down, the right eye where I had posterior canthoplasty opened up and turned into a severe C-shaped deformity, and both eyes are seriously asymmetrical. When I went to the clinic and complained, they said there was no problem, that it turned out well, and told me to go home. After that, I went back again and demanded revision surgery for the C-shape on the right side, and after thinking about it for about a year, I ended up getting revision surgery at the same clinic. The surgery took 10 minutes, and when it was over, the director had already left. No matter what, this was revision surgery. Does 10 minutes make any sense.. What did they even do?; When I looked at my eye while I was still half-awake, it was still the same C-shape, and they said there was nothing more they could do for me. I am scared of any more revision surgery, and even lying on the operating table itself scares me now, so I decided to just live like this.
It turned out that clinic advertises a huge amount, and there were quite a few people around me who had surgery there and had bad results or regretted it. You really need to look into canthoplasty clinics carefully before choosing one ㅜ
