Breast Re-Surgery

I went in for revision consultation just to increase the size.. and was diagnosed with rupture…

Before<before revision>AfterAfterAfterAfterThe before photo is from before I got the revision! Maybe because my chest circumference was originally a bit large, I wasn’t exactly satisfied with the surgery.. so I started looking into revision surgery,, (warning, it’s already funny)

I went to well~known hospitals, obviously, right? Since it was revision surgery.. At first I was like, I want to increase the size~ and had revision consultations.. You all know revision consultations include ultrasound, right? But at both places, there were no findings of rupture. They consulted me like, I could just replace the implants, increase the size, and have surgery; since the first surgery was done through the armpit, I could do the transaxillary approach again~ haha

I knew nothing, so I was like wow, I see, and happily wrote down the estimates, then went to MD for my 3rd consultation. They did an ultrasound there too, and, huh......??? They said it was a rupture??? At that moment, I felt like someone hit me in the back of the head with a hammer at the hospital... I was dazed for a while.

The rupture itself was such a shock, but this hospital wasn’t my first consultation That was what shocked me so much,,, I knew there are doctors who can properly read ultrasound and doctors who can’t, but still, these were places I had carefully chosen after filtering a lot, so it was quite a shock.

I thought, ah, this is why people say to go to breast surgery specialists for breast surgery, and honestly, there must be a reason a breast-specialized hospital is called specialized..... So my final decision was set in stone as MD, the only place that found the rupture, and I had surgery there.

I put Motiva 500 cc on each side, but it’s not that extremely big, is it? Even 500 looks like this, so would I have been satisfied with 380 at my first surgery? haha Since my first surgery was transaxillary, I wanted to do it transaxillary again, but because of the implant rupture, I did the inframammary incision! But since the size got quite a bit bigger than before unless I sling my breasts over my shoulders, the inframammary incision scar doesn’t show at all from the front.

It’s been about two months now, and maybe because it was revision surgery + inframammary incision, recovery was much faster compared with my first surgery, and it was almost painless. The feel softened quickly too! Before, I just lived with some slight asymmetry that bothered me, but now the asymmetry has all been corrected, so I’m living much more satisfied haha

Writing this review made me think... seriously, what if I hadn’t gone to this hospital and had revision surgery after only visiting the first two hospitals.. If they had made an armpit incision and the implant was completely ruptured, gel probably would have gotten everywhere,, Thinking about that, life really has so many moments of choice... I praise myself x20 for not booking right after consultations and for going all the way to the last hospital....

Lastly, if anyone here is looking into surgery or looking into breast revision surgery,,, please,,,, please go to a hospital that reads ultrasound well and get your revision consultation Don’t go just anywhere, don’t go just because there are lots of reviews, please~~~ go to a specialized hospital,, please
