The reason I decided to do it was because I was told so often that I looked tired because of dark circles that wouldn’t go away even with makeup, and when I took photos from the front, all I could see were hollow, half-moon-shaped dark circles. It was hard to cover them with concealer because I also have a lot of fine lines under my eyes and epicanthoplasty scars, so the more I tried to cover them, the messier the under-eye area looked That’s why I decided to have surgery
I had consultations at a total of 3 hospitals, and I trusted Director Lee Ho-jun more because he recommended only the surgeries I really needed He also showed me how the surgery would be done and reviews from people with eyes similar to mine, and explained well what level of effect I could expect and which parts might not improve I went in also thinking about under-eye fat grafting, but the director said there was no need for me to do it, so I only had under-eye fat repositioning
Even until the day before surgery, I kept wondering if I should just not do it.. but I think it was a surgery I’m glad I did
The area below the tear trough under my eyes is still firm, so I can see a line(?) like an epicanthal fold, but when I asked in a plastic surgery community, they said it all goes away later And pigmentation-type dark circles don’t improve with this, so makeup is essential for me,,
For me, including minor bruising, it lasted about 2 weeks, so people who are going to do it should probably think about leaving enough time In the reviews, everyone seemed to have almost no bruising, so I thought I’d be like that too..
