In the past, I had ptosis correction + an incisional procedure to lower the eyelid crease, and now one eye feels like it opens more wide-eyed than the other, so I’ve been going around for clinic consultations! I do think it might be overcorrection, but outwardly it honestly isn’t very noticeable. Still, it feels uncomfortable to me, so I’m getting consultations!
The first clinic is the one where I originally had the surgery. I liked the crease line, and I still have time left in the aftercare/AS period, so I went for a consultation. They explained how much ptosis correction was done on each eye, and since the surgeon personally did my surgery, they said they know well where it is fixed, so it wouldn’t be that difficult. They said if I have surgery, the eye discomfort I feel will definitely improve, but since they would be weakening the ptosis correction, the crease line could become very slightly thicker.
The second clinic did examine my eyes very thoroughly, but maybe because it doesn’t look that noticeable externally, they said it’s a bit borderline for ptosis revision surgery and that it’s my choice. If I do it, they would release the existing ptosis correction and then redo the ptosis correction to match the other eye. They seemed very meticulous and responsible, so I trust them, but I’m worried because there don’t seem to be many reviews specifically about recession surgery
Since I still have time left in the AS period, honestly it wouldn’t be bad to do it at the clinic where I had the surgery, but I’ve seen a few negative reviews about their ptosis correction, so I’m worried Both clinics are fairly well-known for revision surgery, but if I redo it at the second clinic, the cost is in the 4 million won range, so that’s burdensome too... Everyone, which clinic do you think you would choose?? I’ve been worrying about this for weeks... Please leave me some opinions
