Before <before surgery> after <2 weeks> after <1 month> after <1 month> after <1 month> I originally had double eyelids, but the eyelashes at the inner front of my eyes kept poking me, so it was often stinging and uncomfortable Honestly, before I experienced it myself, I thought people saying they got double eyelid surgery because their eyelashes poked them was just an excuse.. right? But in my case, I did not have this issue when I had monolids, and instead my eyelashes started poking me after I got double eyelids lol.. So belatedly, I came to understand how uncomfortable it is when eyelashes poke you
When I asked during a health checkup, they said if I left it alone my vision would get worse too And I often felt uncomfortable every time I studied, so I told my parents and immediately looked into surgery I did not know, but apparently my mom also had double eyelid surgery a long time ago because her eyelashes were poking her..? I had thought my eyes resembled my mom's, but those were surgically done eyes... hahahahaha
Anyway, persuading my parents was not hard, and for me, looking for hospitals on my own was harder.. I looked up so many reviews, and these days it seems the trend is either semi-out or glamorous outline Since I already had double eyelids, I wanted it to not look like I had double eyelid surgery.. and to keep my existing image as it was, so I worried a lot Actually, before surgery, I was often told I looked like a certain female idol too (I will not say who.. haha hehe) I wanted to improve only the poking eyelashes, while keeping my existing line the same and just making my eyes look a little clearer
Among the reviews I saw, I narrowed it down to hospitals that were good at natural lines and went to quite a few consultations During consultations, when I said I was also thinking about upper epicanthoplasty because I wanted my eyes to look clearer Most places recommended ptosis correction together too I already had double eyelids, and I did not think my eye-opening strength was weak in everyday life..
After getting that diagnosis at three hospitals, before going home I thought I should go to just one more eye-specialty hospital So I went without an appointment to one of the hospitals I liked from the reviews Fortunately, the consultant helped me so that if I waited a little until the director's surgery was over I could get a consultation, so I had the consultation right away that day
The order was consultant - director - consultant After taking simple photos, the consultation started, and the consultant was really kind My mom really liked that point too, and the director's consultation was clean and straightforward without anything unnecessary, and they also did not recommend unnecessary things like ptosis correction So I think both my mom and I liked it Since there was no particular mention of ptosis correction, I cautiously asked about it first And they said, what ptosis correction, non-incision + upper epicanthoplasty alone would be enough, so I felt again that it is good to visit many hospitals.. lol
I wanted to keep the line the same, but I could not give up making my eyes look clearer, so I also asked for upper epicanthoplasty and fat removal Even though it was non-incisional, I thought there would be some swelling since I also had a canthoplasty and fat removal..? But as you can see in the 1-week and 2-week photos, there was much less swelling than expected And recovery was fast, so I returned to daily life quickly too. My mom said she should have let me do it earlier lol
For aftercare, they also did a swelling laser and warm compresses, and maybe because of that, I think the swelling really went down fast.. Everyone, when you look into surgery, I hope you carefully check aftercare like this too when deciding on a hospital!
The line came out exactly as I said, and when I met friends after vacation ended They told me it just looked like I had lost weight and that it did not show at all, so I felt good.. hehe I am relieved they said I became prettier without it looking obvious
