Before/after, before/after, I really had no nasal bridge and no nasal tip; it was severe. With a combination of donated costal cartilage and silicone, my new nose was born, and something truly came from nothing. I originally wanted to put in like 9 mm or 10 mm of silicone, but the doctor said it would probably look too artificial and that 4.5 mm would be enough, so what do I know? I trusted the doctor and went ahead with it, and I think it’s just the right height. If I had known nothing and put in 9 mm or 10 mm, I probably would have ended up looking like a plastic-surgery monster, right?
