After graduating from my senior year of high school, for my first nose surgery, I did not know anything, did not go around consulting, and went through a referral (the acquaintance did not even do their nose there, they did double eyelid surgery; I heard they were good at noses too~ so I went), booked right away and proceeded -> it failed. I wanted a small, soft-feeling, natural nose, but it became a Pinocchio nose. Whenever I met someone, they always talked about my nose or openly laughed
Nose before surgery: severe hump and a large nose
First surgery: @Incised and shaved the hump (shaved unnecessarily too much) @Built up the nasal tip with septal cartilage (I had no interest in height, but since the hump was severe, they said that if it was removed, the center weight of the nose would fall to the nasal tip and make it a drooping arrow-shaped nose, so raising the nasal tip was essential : They raised it insanely high. It was so high that my nose felt pulled for a very long time. My philtrum also became longer) @Did alar reduction, and I do not remember this well, but maybe alar cinching? I think they did that too. The result was a pointed nose, Pinocchio nose, and my nose was extremely long. When I went to revision consultations, I heard that it seemed they had also done @septal extension? Septal extension makes the nose longer, and for me it was an extremely! unsuitable surgery
Of course I wanted revision surgery, but they said it would become natural with time, it would lower once the swelling went down, and it would be okay after 1 or 2 years once the nose settled, so I waited. In the end, when I decided on revision surgery, I had no money and no time, so I could not do it, and then after 4 years I finally had revision surgery!
Revision surgery: I cannot remember whether they said the cartilage tying had naturally loosened, or whether they loosened it during surgery.. After removing the thing that had been tormenting me at the nasal tip, they manipulated it a little (the septal cartilage that had been placed in the nasal tip during the first surgery), put it back in a little lower, and sutured! I think at that time they restored the septal extension from the first surgery to its original state and after cartilage repositioning, put the septal cartilage back in
After the second surgery, I quickly returned to daily life. Since it was a lowering surgery, people around me did not know I had surgery. They were surprised that it had become natural. Because of swelling, my nose was a bit big at first, but since it was a lowering surgery, it was very natural, and I actually thought that nose was so cute and was happy
Even immediately after coming out of surgery, I was moved by the clearly visible natural and lowered nose, and my family was moved too lol
They had seen me be stressed beside them and always said I was pretty and that it was okay, but they were also upset with me, saying my nose was pointed though.. if only it were a little lower.. After the revision was successful, they said the things they had not been able to say out of consideration lol Back then, because I was having a hard time, they could not even curse along with me and just said, it is okay.. you are pretty.. lol
Actually, I wanted to remove everything placed in the nasal tip and do only nasal tip repositioning (because I heard nasal tip repositioning can raise the nasal tip height a little, I wanted to solve the issue with nasal tip repositioning in case removing all the nasal cartilage would make the nose droop and look too unattractive)
They could of course do it if I wanted, but because the previously severe hump had been excessively shaved down, and the nose had been pulled so much and raised to the maximum, the issue was that the nasal skin would sag.. So we decided to take out the septal cartilage that had originally been used as material, make it smaller, and put it back into the nose!
The extremely hard feeling, the obvious and pointed look, and the fact that it was so high that from the side it looked long like Pinocchio were all resolved!
Now it is not a completely soft nose like someone who has not had surgery, but it is soft, and no one suspects I had rhinoplasty! It is not a bulbous nose, but I really like the rounded nasal tip and the natural height that does not look long from the side
The first surgery I had, thinking that surgery would end everything for the nose that had been a lifelong stress and complex.. It became more aesthetically pretty from the front than my former rough-looking nose.. (only in photos), but it became a funny-looking nose, so my confidence in my appearance fell even more than before surgery, and I was afraid of meeting new people.
Sure enough, men and women of all ages always talked about my nose. There was even a convenience store owner or someone like that who, when I was paying at a convenience store, pointed at my nose, laughed and joked, and said it looked so obvious. It was our first time meeting^^
I am so sick and tired of that damn nose. Honestly, even now I wish there were absolutely no implant material in my nasal tip. My first complexes were my big nose and hump nose, and those were removed by shaving and alar reduction..
However, by getting rid of those concerns, nasal tip drooping was added, so I am afraid because I cannot predict how I would look if the implant material were completely removed.
It is okay if it droops a little, if there is a slight hump, or if the nose is a little plump. Unless someone observes my nose like a YouTube face-analysis segment, they will not really know, right? But if even one thing is excessive! (if the nasal tip droops a lot or the hump is very severe!) I hate that only that is visible on my face and that it becomes my image
So I am afraid of complete nasal tip removal. I wonder if the septal cartilage still remaining in my nasal tip is at least the factor that makes my nose look featureless..
